I’ve always been drawn to the art of burlesque and bellydance. Having spent my life between Ireland, London, and Bahrain, I grew up surrounded by diverse cultures, music, and movement. Dance and creativity were constant threads throughout my life, shaped by a rich mix of Arabic rhythms alongside metal and industrial music. By the end of 2024, I decided it was time to challenge my imposter syndrome and finally give burlesque a try. One class was all it took. After witnessing a graduate Siren show, I knew I couldn’t ignore the pull any longer—and decided to bite the bullet.
